The mission of the Sports Psychology Association of India (SPAI) is to:

Promote the field of Sports Psychology by fostering research, education and professional practice in Sports Psychology across India.

Enhance athlete performance and well-being by integrating psychological principles and techniques into sports training, coaching, and management.

Develop professional standards and provide certification, training and continuous education for sports psychologists, coaches, and other stakeholders in the sports ecosystem.

Collaborate with sports organizations to create mental training programs that improve focus, resilience, motivation, and emotional control in athletes.
